After 15 years, we no longer have a golf tournament but the donations and support continue so we are able to award scholarships each year in the memory of our dear friend, Randy Jones, Sr.  Our educational youth program has proven to be a great success – thanks to the community support we receive.

 We are committed to stressing the importance of education through the scholarship program.  Since 1997, we have awarded 216,000 dollars to help further the education of young ladies.   All scholarship funds are raised through donations and fundraisers.  The Randy Jones, Sr. Memorial Scholarship is awarded to local students each year.

The Randy Jones, Sr. Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of Randy Jones, Sr. who excelled as an athlete in several sports in his lifetime.

More than just an athlete, Randy was a very giving and humble person, always helping students who were training for their sport. His goal was to help students excel.  

 Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrate leadership, a humble spirit and participation in school and community activities, honors and goals.

 Randy was very involved in the Miss Leesburg Scholarship fundraisers and believed in stressing the importance of education through the scholarship program.

Because of this we will continue to provide scholarships in his name to keep his memory alive.
